Matin was quite simply everything a man should be. He made everyone a better version of themselves and I was proud to call him my friend. I’ll remember him, when ever the path steepens, knowing Bert would be a silhouette on the horizon leaving me behind. He’s left a big hole in our running community, his legacy will live on and his memory will never be forgotten.
